Markou Vineyards

The know-how and the love that Markou family shows to vinification have passed from generation to generation with consistency and passion. The fruits of their labor is a modern winery located in Peania, Attica where the fourth generation of Markou family have already taken their first steps. The winery of Markou Vineyards cultivate 10 hectares of vineyards in “Mesogeia” area as well as 10 hectares of owned vineyards in Nemea, Peloponnese.  The grape varieties they grow are Savvatiano (native to Attica region), Agiorgitiko (native to Nemea region), Assyrtiko, Roditis, Athiri, Moschofilero, Malagousia but also the french varieties of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah as well as the italian variety Trebbiano.
