Weihenstephan
It’s nice to know that in the eventful history of Weihenstephan, with all its developments, achievements and setbacks, one thing has remained constant: the beer. Thus the Weihenstephan Monastery Brewery since 1040 still stands upon the Weihenstephan Hill, proud of its quality and its tradition and conscious of its position as the oldest existing brewery in the world.
Weihenstephan is in fact the world’s oldest brewery, but also one of the most innovative. Behind the historic walls of this brewery lies modern brewing equipment and technology. This commitment to quality and innovation, and nearly a thousand years of brewing experience allows them to produce premium beers for all to enjoy.
Classic Bavarian styles like a Helles or a Hefeweißbier, special brews like the wheat bock Vitus or the dark double bock Korbinian, Weihenstephan is prepared for all the beer lovers – and puts the emphasis on quality.
