Mars Whisky
Founded in 1872, Mars has over 100 years of experience in the spirits industry. From the Japanese local spirit – Shochu – to wine and whisky ;Hombo Shuzo has a strong experience in distillation and blending. As a craft distillery, Mars chose to have their production into 2 distilleries, even though they could increase their original site. Having 3 aging sites throughout Japan gave Mars the opportunity to experiment over the years. They can produce whiskies in different climates and understand its impact. The birth of “Mars” whisky is historically lined to the birth of Japanese whisky.
