Marrons Imbert
Marrons glacés d’Aubenas were born at the beginning of the last century, from the association of Gustave Imbert, an industrialist, and Eugène Contassot, a confectioner from Albenas. In 1920, immediately after the interruption due to the war, Gustave Imbert bought out his partner and the company became known as Marrons Imbert. In 1950, Gustave Imbert died and was succeeded by his son Maurice. A perfectionist and in love with his product, he will respect the traditional chestnut processing methods that have made the company’s success and reputation. In 1993, he passed the torch to his granddaughter, Stéphanie Imbert-Nogier, who has run the business ever since. Marrons Imbert carefully selects and transforms the fruit to deliver an exceptional chestnut. A beautiful fruit, a skilfully measured sugar, a slow and careful sweetening are essential elements for an exceptional experience. Every year, the know-how of Marrons Imbert guarantees you a taste unity in all fruit harvests.
